Hancock County Health System is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric-focused services, including evaluation, treatment and program planning. The role requires Iowa state licensure, ASHA CCC, and CPR certification, with preference for pediatric experience.
Responsibilities include documentation and adherence to policies, procedures and accepted standards, serving patients of all ages while emphasizing children.
Provide speech and language pathology services to patients of all ages, with an emphasis on pediatric care for individuals with speech, language and swallowing deficiencies. Services include evaluation, assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation. Responsible for completing all related documentation in accordance with policies and procedures and accepted standards.
Part-time, 40 hours a pay period. Monday -Friday, day shift.
MS or MA in Communication Sciences and Disorders or higher degree. Must be licensed in the state of Iowa. Must have Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. Must be CPR Certified. Experience with pediatric patients preferred.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, must be able to handle frequent interruptions. Must have ability to provide speech therapy treatments to patients.
