TeachIowa Northwest Area Education Agency – Sioux City, IA, seeks a Speech-Language Assistant to support language, articulation, voice and fluency activities under licensed SLP supervision.

You will work closely with educators, families and communities, providing prescribed practice and documenting progress per state guidelines. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Formación

• High school diploma required.
• Experience working with students or in education preferred.
• Ability to follow guidance from speech-language pathologists and implement plans.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prescribed speech and language practice under supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists.
• Follow treatment plans using approved materials.
• Report and document student performance to supervising SLP.
• Meet with supervising SLP to discuss progress and directions for sessions.
• Use available technology to document activities and results.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
