About SpeechForLife, LLC
Rachel DeSando, Executive Director, founded SpeechForLife as a Private Practice to do what she loves and have the flexibility to be at home with her little one. She was seeking work-life balance, no commute, and wanted to do what she does best-personalize every treatment activity for each child... so SpeechForLife was created as teletherapy and beyond!
Message from our Executive Director:
"I love the flexibility of scheduling, serving children in a 1:1 ratio, and really educating families in how to help their child develop new skills each day. The families that contact me are truly invested, and we have a special screening process to make sure they are the right fit for our services and our therapists. I am looking to expand and continue serving these unique children (speech-language delayed, dyslexia, stuttering, and ASD/pragmatics) by adding another passionate pediatric SLP to my team and offer them the opportunity to have a successful career, work-life balance, supportive management, and reach their highest potential. This part-time position has the potential to grow into full-time if desired by the therapist, and opportunity for advancement in the future as SpeechForLife continues to grow. At SpeechForLife, I don’t only advocate for my clients' quality of life, but also that of my therapists."
