Qualifications

• Experience delivering speech services to school-age children preferred.
• Driver's license and ability to travel throughout Montgomery County, PA.
• Current Police, Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required.

• Evaluate students in the areas of speech and language as needed; consult with parents and other professionals regarding speech and language.

A vacancy exists for a Speech & Language Pathologist to work within the Office of Student Services at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit! This itinerant position will primarily support the MCIU's Non Public schools and School Age K-12 classrooms and programs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology
• Valid PA certification in Speech & Language Pathology
• Valid PA licensure in Speech & Language Pathology or eligible for licensure
• Experience with delivering speech services to a variety of school age children is preferred
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel to locations throughout Montgomery County, PA.
• Current Police, Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required

Location

The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit is located in Norristown, PA and provide services to students in School Age K-12 and Non-Pub classrooms located throughout Montgomery County, PA. Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours/day, 10 months (194 days/year)

2026-2027 Salary

• Bachelor's, Step 1: $55,194/year
• Master's, Step 1: $66,508/year
• Placement on salary schedule based on experience and/or education beyond the Master's Degree.
