The North Carolina Infant-Toddler Program within the NC Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluations and treatment for children and families, both in homes and in community settings.

Description of Work The primary purpose of this position is to provide speech language evaluations and treatment to children and families enrolled in or referred to the NC Infant Toddler Program. Services must be provided in compliance with Federal and State regulations for the Infant Toddler Program. All services are provided in the child’s natural environments (most often in family homes).
Salary Range: $66,696 - $110,049 Starting Salary: $66,696 - 67,000

Must be able to travel throughout assigned area via car, and access client homes and other community locations.

The Division of Child and Family Well-Being is a division at the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) that will focus on supporting whole child and family health and well-being for North Carolinians with several sections including nutrition programs (WIC, SNAP and Child and Adult Care Food Program), health & prevention services for children and youth, children’s behavioral health programs, and early intervention programs.
The Operations Unit is in the Community Nutrition Services Section (CNSS) in the Division of Child and Family Well-Being (DCFW).
