Job summary

Wicomico County Public Schools is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year in Salisbury, Maryland. The role is a full-time position within Special Education and includes an employee benefits package.

The SLP will evaluate and diagnose speech and language skills, collaborate with IEP teams, participate in IEP meetings, and provide targeted interventions to students in the district.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed by the state of Maryland.
• Experience with AAC devices.
• Ability to communicate effectively using the English language when deemed necessary.

Responsibilities

SALARY
Commensurate with certification/licensure and experience based on the Wicomico County Salary Schedule for Teachers.

Includes employee benefits package.

HOURS
Full time 10-month position (190 contract days).

Contract Unit: This position is part of the Unit I (Certificated) bargaining unit.

FLSA: Exempt
