Job summary

SESI, a division of FullBloom, seeks a special education teacher to diagnose and address learning, social, and emotional skill gaps in K-12 students. You’ll collaborate with school teams and families to deliver SESI’s evidence-based models, including PBIS CASE, in smaller-class settings.

You will inspire, empower, and transform students through personalized guidance, data-driven progress, and a supportive environment designed to help each learner shine.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Adaptability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Use SESI’s instructional models, strategies, and curricula to teach knowledge and skills.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and intervention strategies, including de-escalation techniques when necessary.
• Maintain student documents such as IEPs and BIPs.
• Drive, record, and track student growth toward goals.
• Supervise and monitor students within the school.
