Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a dedicated special education teacher to diagnose and address learning, social, and emotional skill gaps in K-12 students. Collaborate with school teams to deliver personalized guidance and SESI’s evidence-based instructional models.

You will develop individualized lesson plans, manage behavior using PBIS CASE, and maintain IEP/related records while delivering engaging instruction in diverse classrooms.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role.
Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
Adaptability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds and abilities.
Use SESI’s instructional models and curricula to teach knowledge and skills.
Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
Implement behavior management and intervention strategies to keep students safe.
Maintain student documents such as IEPs, BIPs, incident reports, and high-risk forms.
Drive, record, and track student growth toward goals.
Supervise and monitor students during transitions and activities.
