Job summary

SESI, a division of FullBloom, is seeking a special education teacher to address learning, social, and emotional skill gaps for diverse K-12 students in in-district classrooms or standalone schools.

You will collaborate with school teams and families, implement SESI instructional models, and help students shine through smaller class sizes and supportive services across our national network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid teaching credential required.
• Willingness to learn and apply feedback.
• Flexible and adaptable to diverse student needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach a diverse group of students with varying developmental and cultural backgrounds.
• Utilize SESI instructional models and curricula to build knowledge, confidence, and character.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Apply behavior management and intervention strategies to maintain student and staff safety.
• Maintain student records including IEPs, BIPs, incident reports, and evaluations.
• Track student growth toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Supervise students during movement to and from locations within the school.
