TheraPeds Partners is seeking a full-time, on-site Special Education Teacher for a school-based position in Custer, SD. You will provide SPED instruction and case management, collaborate with district staff and families, and ensure compliance with IEPs and district policies.

The role emphasizes strong communication, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to supporting students with disabilities in a classroom setting.

Qualifikationen

• Teaching Certification in Special Education required or preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or higher.
• State SPED licensure or eligibility to obtain SPED teaching license.

• Develop, implement, and assess Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Deliver instruction tailored to meet diverse learning styles and needs of students.
• Collaborate with parents, educators, and specialists to ensure a comprehensive approach to student learning and support.
• Monitor student progress and adapt instructional strategies to improve outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, behavior, and progress to inform instruction and planning.
• Create a welcoming, safe, and productive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior and learning.
