Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our full-time school-based team in Ham Lake, MN. This role focuses on supporting students with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs within an inclusive environment.

You will collaborate with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized learning experiences that foster growth, confidence, and achievement across settings.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Minnesota Special Education teaching license.
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs based on student needs and goals.
• Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse disabilities.
• Monitor progress and adjust instructional strategies.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and document performance and progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.
• Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
• Implement evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies.
• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements.
