The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SPED Teacher to join our full-time school-based team in Milwaukee, WI. This role focuses on supporting students with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs to achieve academic and personal success.

You will collaborate with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized learning experiences that foster growth, confidence, and achievement in an inclusive educational environment.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Wisconsin Special Education teaching license.
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs and goals.
• Provide specialized instruction to students with a variety of learning, emotional, behavioral, and developmental disabilities.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to support academic achievement.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to promote student success.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student performance and progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with families regarding student growth and educational goals.
• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Implement evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies to meet diverse student needs.
• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements.
