Denver Public Schools in Colorado seeks dedicated Special Education (SPED) teachers to adapt lessons for students with mild to moderate disabilities and teach across core subjects. You will develop individualized plans and assess progress to support diverse learners.

Responsibilities include behavior management, curriculum adaptation, and collaboration with families to ensure access to high-quality education.

Formación

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• A valid Colorado Department of Education teaching license.
• Experience with young students who have special needs and diverse backgrounds.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute individualized lesson plans across subjects.
• Administer formal and informal assessments to monitor progress.
• Manage student behavior in line with policy and reinforce positive conduct.
• Prepare materials and adapt instruction to meet varying needs.
• Provide daily living support and operate adaptive equipment as trained.
