Job summary

Spindle in Richmond, CA is seeking a Special Education Teacher for grades 5–8 on a full-time, contract basis through the current school year. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth and implement IEPs.

Active Mild to Moderate CTC credential is required. Strong organization, communication, and data-driven instruction are essential as you partner with families and multidisciplinary staff to advocate for every student’s best interests.

Qualifications

• Active CTC credential with Mild to Moderate authorization.
• Experience as a SPED teacher in upper elementary or middle school.
• Ability to design and manage IEPs.
• Differentiated instruction and adaptable curriculum.
• Strong organizational, communication, and data-tracking skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized instruction for grades 5–8.
• Write and update IEPs per guidelines.
