Job summary

El Paso Leadership Academy is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students in both self-contained and inclusion classrooms. You will assist with ARD paperwork and help implement accommodations and modifications under guidance from the SPED team.

The role emphasizes instructional support, data interpretation, collaboration with teachers, and a commitment to the school's mission. Bilingual applicants are encouraged; certification will be obtained upon hire.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional certification required (will be obtained upon hire)
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Experience as a paraprofessional preferred (1 year)

Responsibilities

• Assist with ARD paperwork and instructional delivery in self-contained and inclusion classrooms
• Provide small-group and one-on-one support aligned to annual goals
• Ensure accommodations/modifications are implemented by classroom teachers
• Maintain logs of contact hours with each student
• Submit weekly time-sheets to Dean of Special Services or APSS
• Support professional development and align with mission and values
