REAL Journey Academies is seeking an Inclusion Assistant to support students with disabilities and collaborate with teachers to ensure student success. The role includes assisting with tests, homework, and IEP-related tasks, and promoting positive replacement behaviors in the learning environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 1-2 years of related experience.
• Experience with computers and software applications.
• Ability to learn current software and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tests, homework, program reviews, reports, and student files as directed.
• Support student skill development and replacement behaviors.
• Participate in IEP meetings and prepare presentations as directed.
• Maintain required documentation for students and families.
• Monitor daily progress and chart weekly behavior.
• Build relationships with students and parents.
• Collaborate with staff on behavioral support.
• Provide mobility assistance as needed.
