Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years in special education or math instruction.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops specially designed math curriculum for self-contained SPED classrooms, including modified content, scaffolded lessons, and individualized supports.
• Creates instructional materials aligned to IEP goals, alternate standards, and differentiated learning pathways.
• Develops job-embedded professional learning to support teachers in implementing specialized instructional strategies and accommodations.
• Evaluates curriculum for accessibility, compliance, and effectiveness for students with diverse cognitive and learning needs.
• Collaborates with SPED specialists, therapists, and instructional teams to ensure alignment and appropriateness of materials.
• Uses student performance data and feedback to continuously refine curriculum and intervention supports.
