Job summary

SST North Campuses in Houston, TX is seeking a SPED Teacher/Coordinator to support students with disabilities and coordinate SPED/504 and Dyslexia programs in compliance with laws.

You will train teachers, support ARD/504 meetings, monitor progress, and prepare reports to ensure IEP/504 plan implementation. Bachelor’s degree and Texas SPED certification required; 2+ years SPED teaching preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and Texas SPED endorsement preferred.
• Minimum 2 years SPED teaching experience (preferred).
• Valid Texas Educator Certification with required SPED endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Trains teachers and staff to understand and comply with SPED/504 and confidentiality rules.
• Participates in ARD/504 meetings and related planning activities.
• Monitors SPED/504 students' progress and coordinates instruction and scheduling.
• Compiles and maintains required SPED/504 documentation and reports.
