Job summary

Questions may be directed to the respective principals. This is a nonexempt, instructional support role focused on assisting students with disabilities and supporting classroom activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; candidates must meet one of three qualification paths.
• Possession of ParaPro or equivalent assessment may be required.
• Strong ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructional staff in classroom to support teaching staff.
• Prepare lesson aids and materials such as bibliographies, charts, and graphs.
• Supervise and assist students in various activities and movements as directed by the teacher.
• Attend parent/teacher meetings as appropriate.
• Perform clerical duties including attendance, records, and coordinating materials.
