Job summary

Vassalboro Community School seeks an Educational Technician to support students receiving Special Education Services. The day runs 6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., with work in small groups and individually under the guidance of SPED teachers.

Applicants must hold Educational Technician Certification (DOE Level II or III), be a team player, and adapt to changing student needs. A fingerprint/background check is required for employment.

Qualifications

• Educational Technician Certification via DOE Level II OR III.
• Ability to work with students individually and in small groups assisted and supported by the Special Education teachers.
• Must be a team player and adaptable to changing needs of students.

Responsibilities

• Assist students receiving Special Education Services under SPED teachers’ guidance.
• Collaborate with Special Education teachers to implement plans.
• Support flexible group and one-on-one activities as needs change.
