Job summary

Arrow Child & Family Ministries seeks an Assistant Teacher to support the Teacher in providing educational and special education services tailored to each student’s needs. The role follows a standard 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Friday schedule with an annual 2,080 hours commitment.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe learning environment, supervising student behavior, assisting in direct instruction, and completing documentation such as attendance records, grades, IEP data, and portfolios.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe learning environment in line with policies.
• Supervise and manage student behavior in classroom and school events.
• Provide reliable supportive presence and assist in instruction.
• Assist with group and individual instruction for students.
• Complete attendance, grades, IEP data logs, portfolios, and behavior logs.
• May help create curricular and remediation materials as directed.
• In teacher's absence, implement instructional plans.
