Job summary

Arrow Child & Family Ministries seeks a dedicated Teacher to implement IEP/PEP-based instruction for assigned students, leading small groups and maintaining a safe, engaging classroom. The role emphasizes individualized lesson plans and progress tracking.

Responsibilities include direct instruction in ELA, math, science, social studies or electives for roughly nine students, unit planning, progress reporting, and collaboration with the Treatment Team. Occasional driving may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in education or relevant field.
• Valid teaching certificate in the required area.
• Experience in special education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe learning environment in classroom and school activities.
• Provide direct group and individual instruction in core subjects and electives.
• Prepare unit plans for about nine students, tailoring to learning styles.
• Record attendance, grades, and behavioral progress accurately.
• Collaborate with treatment team and staff to support student growth.
• Deliver crisis intervention as needed and follow school policies.
