Job summary

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional Aide II certificate required after employment.
• College hours 48 for Title I campus with 464 ParaPro score.
• Ability to communicate with students with disabilities.
• Maintain confidential student records and clerical duties.
• Good physical and emotional condition.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing all elements of the RISE program.
• Maintain accurate records of students in the RISE program.
• Implement behavior management strategies.
• Maintain student progress records and charts.
• Provide re-orientation and instruction in the RISE classroom.
• Monitor student behaviors.
• Obtain and maintain CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification.
• Perform other SHARS duties as assigned.
• Provide personal care as identified in IEPs.
