Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist the SPED teacher in implementing the daily program under supervision.
• Prepare learning environments, materials, and activities for students.
• Work with students individually or in small groups during instruction and reading groups.
• Supervise outdoor play and classroom transitions; support safety.
• Help with clerical tasks and school housekeeping duties as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings; support school initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality of students and families; cooperate with staff.
• Support positive behavior and academic focus for all students.
