Job summary

Spectrum Resorts seeks a Senior IT Systems Administrator to oversee day-to-day IT operations across multiple properties, focusing on reliability, security, and continuous improvement of technology systems supporting resort operations.

The role leads infrastructure projects, manages vendor relationships, and serves as the primary escalation point for operational technology incidents, supervising technical staff and coordinating after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive IT systems administration, infrastructure, or enterprise technical support experience.
  • Experience supporting multi-site environments preferred.
  • Hospitality, resort, or property management technology experience preferred.
  • Experience leading technology projects.
  • Previous supervisory or technical team leadership experience preferred.
  • Ability to independently prioritize work and manage multiple priorities.
  • Availability to respond to critical technology outages outside normal business hours.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily IT operations across multiple resort properties.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, networking, cloud services, servers, and endpoints.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware, software, network issues.
  • Support PMS, POS, access control, surveillance, telecom, and AV systems.
  • Maintain security, backups, DR procedures, and documentation.
  • Lead technology projects from planning to implementation.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and third-party technology providers.
  • Supervise and mentor technical support staff.
  • Respond to critical technology incidents and coordinate recovery.
  • Participate in after-hours support for critical systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve technology performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company technology standards and policies.

Senior Information Technology Systems Administrator
Summary

The Senior IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, security, and continuous improvement of technology systems supporting Spectrum Resorts' operations across multiple properties. This role serves as the primary technical lead, ensuring the reliability, availability, and security of resort technology while leading infrastructure projects, supporting business-critical systems, supervising technical staff, and coordinating vendor relationships. The position also serves as the primary escalation point for operational technology incidents.

Essential Job Functions
  • Lead daily IT operations across multiple resort properties.
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Entra ID, networking, cloud services, servers, and endpoint management platforms.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware, software, network, and infrastructure issues.
  • Support resort technology platforms including PMS, POS, access control, surveillance, telecommunications, and audiovisual systems.
  • Maintain system security, backups, disaster recovery procedures, and operational documentation.
  • Lead technology projects from planning through implementation.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and third-party technology providers.
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide direction to technical support staff.
  • Respond to critical technology incidents and coordinate recovery efforts.
