Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid Level Spectrum Manager to support the Navy Marine Corps Spectrum Center (NMSC) in EMS management for the DoN. The role involves coordinating frequency allocations and representing DoN in international meetings to ensure spectrum efficiency and compliance.

The position requires an AA degree or IRFMS/Navy FSM training, DoD Secret clearance, and 5–10 years in spectrum management, with strong collaboration across U.S. and international partners.

Qualifications

• AA degree or IRFMS/Navy FSM training; substitutions allowed.
• US citizen with active DoD Secret clearance.
• 5–10 years of spectrum management experience.

Responsibilities

• Procure, assign, and protect radio frequencies to satisfy DoN telecommunications needs.
• Prepare engineering data for frequency and C-E matters for meetings and subcommittees.
• Analyze communications equipment data to resolve frequency conflicts at national/international levels.
• Coordinate with US and international officials to execute spectrum actions.
• Attend working groups and DoD policy meetings affecting spectrum management.
• Evaluate frequency allocations and plan changes to support DoN operations.
• Assist in negotiations on DoD policies to achieve DoN objectives.
• Participate in meetings with US/foreign military and civil agencies on spectrum issues.
