Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, seeks a Technical Product Manager to own the spectrum dominance software/firmware backlog and translate DoD requirements into features. You will bridge R&D and engineering to deliver robust MN-MIMO-enabled waveform products within a hybrid Irvine, CA environment.

The role requires 5+ years in technical product management or systems engineering in defense or wireless fields, with security clearance or path to obtain. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of technical product management or systems engineering in defense, aerospace, or wireless industries.
• Strong knowledge of signal processing, wireless communications, RF systems, SDRs, DSP, or MANETs.
• Experience translating complex algorithms into clear software requirements and user stories.
• Ability to influence cross-functional R&D, engineering, operations, and sales teams to meet release timelines.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months; must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Translate abstract DoD mission requirements and signal concepts into structured user stories and specs.
• Translate LPI/LPD and anti-jamming techniques into actionable features with an operator focus.
• Own end-to-end software and firmware backlog and user experience for spectrum dominance features.
• Coordinate with R&D and software teams to ensure waveforms integrate with MN-MIMO and StreamCaster platforms.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cadences via Jira.
