Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) invites a Project Engineer (PE) specializing in RF sensors, antennas, electronically steered arrays (ESAs) and low observable integration to join the Agile Mission Systems team in San Diego.

The role requires leading cross-functional efforts across concept development, design, test, and integration, with exposure to DoD programs and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Salary range is $116,480–$208,505 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with progressive engineering experience.
• Experience with RF hardware design, ESAs, and LO integration is preferred.
• Experience with DoD programs and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-discipline engineering team to resolve highly technical problems across concept development, prototyping, and manufacturing.
• Manage complex cross-functional RF projects involving hardware components and system architecture.
• Lead system-level qualification, verification and validation testing with defined test plans.
• Understand antenna/ESA/radar integration and define a technical path forward.
• Collaborate with senior staff and program management offices.
