The role supports maintenance of production goals and data accuracy in patient records. The position requires a High School diploma or GED and prefers 1 year of related lab or production experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
• 1 year or more medical or production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas
• Identify and label specimens accurately
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities
• Meet department activity and production goals
• Store excess specimen samples properly
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Resolve and document any problem specimens
