Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processor I to join the Earth City branch. Responsibilities include preparing laboratory specimens, labeling, routing to staging areas and data entry of patient information in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in a lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse. Work schedule is Monday through Friday with evening shifts; benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
