Job summary

Labcorp in Tucker, GA is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our team on a Tue–Sat 7:30 pm – 12:30 am schedule. You will prepare laboratory specimens for analysis, unpack and route specimens, label accurately, and support high-throughput operations.

Responsibilities include data entry, labeling, packing and shipping specimens, and maintaining quality standards while meeting production goals. A high school diploma or GED is required, plus 1 year of lab or warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
• Specimen accessioning and data entry in high-throughput environment.
