Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processor to join our Tucker, GA team. You will prepare laboratory specimens for analysis, unpack and route them to staging areas, and ensure accurate labeling and data entry in a high-throughput setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Comfortable handling biological specimens and accurate data entry.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
• Accurately identify and label specimens
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
• Meet department activity and production goals
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Resolve and document any problem specimens
