Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Accessioner/Processor for the Henry Ford St. John site in Detroit, MI. The part-time position runs 6:30AM-3:00PM, with 2-3 rotating days per week and every other weekend.

Responsibilities include preparing, labeling, and routing specimens, data entry, and ensuring production goals are met in a high-volume laboratory setting. Minimum qualification is a High School Diploma; preferred experience in medical or production environments.

LabCorp is seeking a Specimen Accessioner/Processor to join our team at Henry Ford St. John in Detroit, MI.

Work Schedule: Part time working 6:30AM-3:00PM. Will work 2-3 rotating days/week and every other weekend

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
• Accurately identify and label specimens

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months or more of experience in a medical or production environment

• Comfortable handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Experience working in a team environment
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
