Pride Health is hiring a Specimen Processor for Batesville, AR, on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:30 PM–9:30 PM). This is a 13+ week assignment with potential extension or conversion, offering a dynamic environment to gain laboratory experience. Start date ASAP.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous laboratory or specimen processing experience preferred.
• Medical background or familiarity with medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-sort and accessioning support.
• A-Station operations.
• Specimen centrifugation and aliquoting.
• Imaging and microfilming.
• Pickup and delivery of processed specimens to the laboratory.
• Enter specimen information into laboratory systems.
• Maintain productivity and quality in a high-volume production environment.
• Learn and identify specimen types related to ordered laboratory tests.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory regulations and specimen handling procedures.
• Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and other departments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety, quality assurance, and compliance policies.
• Demonstrate flexibility in responding to changing workload and departmental priorities.
• Support additional departmental duties as assigned.

Role: Specimen Processor (2nd shift)

Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 9:30 PM

Hours per Week: 30 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $16-18/hr. on W2 (Based on experience & education)

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-sort and accessioning support
• A-Station operations
• Specimen centrifugation and aliquoting
• Imaging and microfilming
• Pickup and delivery of processed specimens to the laboratory
• Accurately enter specimen information into laboratory systems.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards in a high-volume production environment.
• Learn and identify specimen types related to ordered laboratory tests.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory regulations and specimen handling procedures.
• Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and other departments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety, quality assurance, and compliance policies.
• Demonstrate flexibility in responding to changing workload and departmental priorities.
• Support additional departmental duties as assigned.
• Fast-paced laboratory production environment
• Exposure to biological specimens and biohazard materials

Qualifications:

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
