Job summary

Labcorp in Portland, OR is seeking a dedicated team member for Specimen Processing and Accessioning on a 3rd shift (10pm–6:30am). You will prepare and label specimens, route them to staging, and ensure accurate data entry while supporting production goals.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, plus 6 months of lab or healthcare experience. Prior Labcorp experience is preferred; willingness to work in a team is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preference for LabCorp experience.
• Six months of lab or specimen processing experience.
• Six months in healthcare settings such as clinics or hospitals.
• Six months in assembly or manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
• Identify and label specimens accurately.
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Data entry of patient information promptly and accurately.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
