Job summary

Sonic Reference Laboratory, Inc is seeking an insert role in Austin, TX for Laboratory Operations. This full-time position supports specimen processing, data entry, and shipment to referral labs, with focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree or Phlebotomy Certification, plus strong reading, writing, and analytical skills. On-site shift 6:00am-2:30pm, Tuesday-Saturday, benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Phlebotomy Certification with High School Diploma.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Typing proficiency, including 10-key.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Open and verify check shipper sample types and ensure empty.
• Complete Specimen receipt logs.
• Specimen Receipt and forward problem samples/orders to exception handling.
• Identify Issues (Ordering, Labeling, Specimen).
• Aliquoting of samples.
• Shipping to other Referral Labs.
• Data Entry.
