Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA in Dallas, TX seeks an in-lab technician to properly process, route, and store patient specimens. The role requires attention to safety, compliance, and quality control in a lab environment with PPE and PHI handling.

You will work Tue-Fri 10:00 am–7:30 pm and Sat 10:00 am–2:00 pm, full-time with benefits. A High School diploma and experience in specimen collection or processing are expected, along with strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Process, prepare, route, and store laboratory specimens accurately.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement solutions.
• Work in a lab with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
