Job summary

Sonic Reference Laboratory, Inc in Austin, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Support worker to join our front-line team on the 1st shift. This full-time role emphasizes accuracy in specimen receipt, data entry, and shipping to referral labs, with a sign-on bonus available and competitive benefits.

You will verify sample types, maintain receipt logs, identify issues, perform aliquoting, and forward problematic samples to the exception handling process.

Qualifications

• Must have strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Typing proficiency, including 10-key.
• Associate Degree or Phlebotomy Certification with High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Open and verify check shipper sample types and ensure empty
• Complete Specimen receipt logs
• Specimen Receipt and forward problem samples/orders to exception handling
• Identify Issues (Ordering, Labeling, Specimen)

SHIFT 1:6:00am - 2:30pm; Tuesday-Saturday

In this role, you will:

All you need is:
