Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processing Team Lead to join our Lawrenceville, NJ team. The role schedules Mon–Fri, 12:30pm–9:00pm, with coverage for additional shifts and weekends as needed.

You will supervise daily operations, lead the team, prepare specimens, and ensure quality and process improvements across the department. Ideal candidates have high school completion, 3+ years in a lab/production setting, strong communication, detail orientation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.
• Experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising day-to-day operations of the department.
• Lead the team in daily processes and procedures.
• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Oversee routing of specimens to prep areas.
• Encourage process improvements and best practices.
• Perform quality assurance checks for efficiency and accuracy.
• Resolve production errors as instructed by management.
• Research and resolve production errors with escalation when needed.
• Engage in continuous process and service level improvements.
• Enforce policies and procedures.
• Perform administrative duties as needed.
