Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; phlebotomy training recommended for assignment to phlebotomy services.
• Minimal CLIA requirements may be adjusted if approved by the CLIA director.
• Relevant certification and basic life support are preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens following established procedures and protocols.
• Assist in delivering specimens to the appropriate laboratory.
• Perform routine and specialized procedures as assigned, including phlebotomy tasks.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and communicate professionally with patients and staff.
