Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Seattle, WA is seeking a Specimen Processing Supervisor working Tuesday through Saturday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. You will oversee daily operations of the Specimen Processing department, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.

You will develop SOPs, train staff, monitor compliance, and coordinate with logistics to maintain specimen supply. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on supervision in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Specimen Processing department.
• Ensure safety, ergonomics, maintenance, and cleanliness of department.
• Develop and implement SOPs for Specimen Processing per Quest guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State & local licensure requirements.
• Train personnel and conduct annual competency assessments.
• Monitor workflow and coordinate with logistics to maintain specimen supply.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Prepare schedules and month-end reports.
