Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Specimen Processing Supervisor in Miramar, FL, Tue-Sat, 2:00 AM–10:00 AM. You will supervise daily operations, ensure compliance, safety, and quality, and drive process improvements across the Specimen Processing department.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience in a laboratory setting, familiarity with SOPs, and strong communication skills to coordinate with internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Internal candidates require a minimum of two years in a Group Leader/related role.
• 5 years experience in a laboratory; Medical or production background preferred.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise multiple functions within Specimen Processing and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Specimen Processing department and related functions.
• Ensure safety, ergonomics, maintenance, and cleanliness of the department.
• Develop and implement SOPs for Specimen Processing.
• Ensure all licensure requirements are met and audits pass.
• Monitor workflow and staffing, provide training and coaching.
• Prepare month-end reports and resolve customer issues promptly.
