Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Problem Resolution Specimen Technician in Miramar, FL. This night shift role (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) with rotational weekends offers a comprehensive benefits package and performance-based bonuses.

The position focuses on resolving specimen issues, coordinating with processing and testing departments, and ensuring timely reporting. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, and familiarity with MS Office and lab information

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Specimen Tech III/related role preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and lab information systems.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for resolution of specimen problems to avoid delays.
• Communicate with internal departments to resolve issues.
• Demonstrate competency with SOPs related to specimen resolution.
• Interpret specimen tracking data using available resources.
• Handle priority samples and issues impacting client care.
• Enter TIQs/TNPs and process mislabeled specimens.
