Qualifications

• Phlebotomy or specimen processing experience required.
• Formal training from an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and performs tasks to meet turnaround time standards.
• Performs data entry and lab processes including sterile technique, aliquoting and phlebotomy.
• Processes specimens for laboratory testing.
• Competent in collection or processing of specialized samples.
• Acts as trainer and resource to other Specimen Processor Phlebotomists.
• Works with minimal supervision and solves problems independently.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
