Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Per Diem Specimen Management associate in Overland Park, KS to support the lab and patient care teams.

You will act as liaison between the lab, clients, and patients; resolve requests via calls, chat, and email; review test forms for accuracy and triage specimens; ensure accurate labeling and proper shipping of specimens. Requires a HS diploma; 2+ years specimen processing; Associate degree and MS Office familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years specimen processing experience preferred.
• Associates degree preferred; medical/clinical laboratory experience valued.
• 6 months+ in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between lab, clients, and patients; resolve requests via calls, instant messenger & email.
• Research complex issues using multiple databases and provide customer education.
• Review test forms for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Prepare, triage, identify labeling, and ship specimens as needed.
