UW Health in Madison, WI seeks a part-time Specimen Control and Receiving Tech for the Support Services team. The role involves receiving and logging specimens, ensuring proper labeling, and directing them to the correct work stations or storage areas.
Responsibilities include LIS data entry, basic instrument maintenance, and routine clerical duties, with daily collaboration among pathologists, clinicians, and nursing staff.
20% FTE, working 4 hour shifts 4pm-8pm Monday thru Friday with some Saturdays 9am-1pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
