Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Part Time Specimen Collector II in Baltimore, MD. You will collect urine and saliva specimens, prepare them for shipping, and act as the bridge between clinics and our lab, ensuring accurate records and efficient communication.

The ideal candidate has 6+ months of specimen collection or 1+ year in a medical setting, strong customer service, and the ability to use a smartphone and computer.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of specimen collection experience or 1+ year in medical field supporting patients.
• 2+ years of customer service can substitute medical experience.
• Ability to navigate a smartphone and computer.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as liaison between practice/clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information and physician order details.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in the ordering portal.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens.
