Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Experience in the medical field is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential to success in this role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Basic computer knowledge including email and web navigation; credential management.
• Experience with tablets; use of stylus is a plus.
• Understanding of security measures and file management.

Responsibilities

• Collect biological specimens at client sites for testing.
• Maintain the integrity of the collection process and chain of custody.
• Prepare and package specimens for shipment and billing reports.
• Follow SOPs for sample collection and ensure accurate requisitions.
• Answer questions from clients/patients about Aegis policies.
• Complete compliance training including HIPAA.
• Order supplies and manage budget with regional managers as required.
• Verify insurance information and collect payments when applicable.
• Maintain regular communication with sales leadership and support marketing objectives.
• Represent Aegis in a professional manner and participate in process improvements.
