Job summary

Aegis Sciences Corporation is seeking a Specimen Collector to collect biological specimens at client sites and maintain the integrity of the collection process. You will ensure chain of custody, proper labeling, and packaging, while handling client questions and completing required compliance training.

The role offers a schedule of up to 18 hours per week (PRN) and a starting pay of $17.13 per hour or higher, with full benefits for eligible full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining quality and extreme confidentiality.
• Experience in the medical field is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential to success in this role.
• Positive approach and attitude in patient interactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to multitask with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Foster open communication between the client and Aegis Sales Management.
• Follow SOPs for sample collection and maintain chain of custody integrity.
• Ensure samples are properly labeled, sealed, and have sufficient volume.
• Utilize ELR “FLUID” for sample submissions and ensure requisitions are complete.
