Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Full-Time Female Specimen Collector II in Dickson, TN. You will collect urine and saliva, process and ship specimens, and act as a liaison between clinics and the lab. Travel between facilities is required, with occasional overnight stays.

The ideal candidate has 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in medical support, plus 2+ years of customer service. A valid driver's license and comfort with smartphones/computers are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience as a specimen collector or 1+ year in medical field supporting patients.
• 2+ years of customer service experience acceptable in place of medical experience.
• Proficiency with smartphones and computers is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between practice/clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician order details, and lab data.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens when applicable.
• Travel between facilities; occasional overnight coverage.
